Hello everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones and that Santa was very kind to you 😀 I'd like to share the treat box I made to decorate my Christmas table that was all decked out in white and gold with red accents in the form of poinsettias.
To make these, I followed a tutorial by Sam Calcott from Mixed Up Crafts.
You can find the tutorial HERE
I used papers from the DCWV White & Gold Foiled Premium Paper Pack.
You can turn these into ornament gift boxes too. You see the little loop at the back? Well, you can thread a thinner ribbon or a piece of twine to make a loop to hang on the tree. Alternatively, you could use a Christmas tree hook directly onto the little loop.
And here they are, all 8 of them :-) Sorry about the glare on the photo. This paper is stunning but the foiled accents are extremely reflective.
And Ta-Da! I put a little Tunnock's Tea Cake into each box. I was lucky to find these at the World Market, imported from the UK, and bought two boxes 😀 I grew up with Sweetie Pies which are almost the same, just the South African version. The closest I have found to these, here in the US, are the Mallowmars by Nabisco.
Everyone loved the little faceted origami boxes, and it's contents even more, so it was a win-win!
That's all for today, I'll be back tomorrow with my Fairy Stamper Friday share. I hope you'll come back and visit, if you have the time.
I'm so sorry that I haven't been around to visit all of you. I was so behind on so many aspects of my life, that since the Christmas holidays started, I've been playing catch up. Good news is that I'm almost done, so I'll be able to come visit each of you as from the New Year. That is definitely on top of my New Year's resolutions for 2022.
Crafty hugs,
