Christmas Dessert Treat No. 1

Hello everyone.  Christmas is such a special time of the year! I love it!  From the hustle and bustle to the traditions and treats.  One tradition is the dessert table at hubby's work.  It begins on the first Thursday of December and goes on till the week before Christmas when a lot of people take off for the holidays.

For the first Thursday of this month, I made these treat boxes.  No, I didn't make the bundtinis this time, as I didn't have enough time, but I made the treat boxes to put them in as each treat had to be individually wrapped as per Covid guidelines.

I used a file from the Silhouette store and created this box. I had to adjust the width of the insert in order to fit the little bundtinis but it worked out perfectly as they were securely placed in each box.

I used a little pinecone and berries pick to decorate the top of each box and to use it as a closure.

And here they are, all 18 of them :-) I placed them all in my largest cookie sheet and tied them together to keep the ones hanging over the edge from falling :-)

I don't mind telling you that due to hubby's short notice (men!!) I was up until 4:00 am making these treat boxes, but they were packaged and delivered on time, and from what hubby says, and emails I read, they were a great hit, so it was worth it.  Of course, to ensure that the little bundtinis tasted good, I had to proof taste one at about 3:00 am while busy working on the boxes.  It was delicious and accompanied by a cup of hot cocoa 😀

I'll be back soon to share desserts 2 & 3.

Crafty hugs,
