Meowee Christmas

Happy Friday crafting friends and welcome to my Fairy Stamper Friday Share.

I have a few friends that love cats so when I made this card, I made it with one special friend in mind.  I hope it will bring a smile to her face :-)

I began by adhering the Christmas Bauble stencil to a piece of smooth white cardstock. Next I inked in the background. Next I stamped Ed using pigment ink. This ensures a clean and sharp image when stamped over the distress oxide inks used on the background.
I thought it would be whimsical to have Ed play with snowflakes, so I die cut a few and scattered them around adhering one to his paw.  Ed definitely needed something a little festive, so I die cut a little Santa hat and placed it on his head. ðŸ˜€

When the front was done, I created the inside of the card.  I inked in the background using the same distress oxide colours as I had used in the front, stamped Nala, and gave her a little Santa hat too.  Next I stamped the sentiment and added a few left over snowflakes.  I felt that the top left hand corner was very bare so I stamped a little Christmas sprig with a few berries. I added a little Currant Fairy Hugs Glitter to the berries to make them sparkle.

  1. You go girl! I'm not an animal lover but Ed looks adorable and am SURE will bring a big smile to your cat loving friends face!! Beautiful coloring on the bauble! You must do masking around the top portion where your colors change to have them so clean and not overlapped like mine are lol. (too lazy to mask). Either way this is absolutely BEAUTIFUL inside and out! Well done my friend! Happy Thanksgiving to you & yours!
