Hi everyone. Today, I'm sharing a card that I made for my nephew who turns 15 today. I had to pick a card that would not be very bulky as it was being mailed overseas, so when I saw this fun card at the Silhouette store, I thought it would be perfect. What do you all think?
In addition to what was on the Silhouette cut file, I added the numbers which were die cut from a Marianne Designs die set called Pin Numbers.
As a finishing touch I added glassy accents to the chocolate frosting, the numbers, and the flames. I went over the candles and the stars with a Wink of Stella clear pen.
I cut an extra panel to put at the back so that I could write my personal message. I stamped a greeting from the Cardz TV Good Times stamps set, and added a couple of stars to finish it off.
I love box cards. Although they have a lot of dimension, they fold flat which makes it really easy to mail.
