Hello and welcome to our October challenge at Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round.
This month our challenge is to create a project with something beginning with
the letters S or T.
For my DT project, I used the letter "S" for Snow Globe.
My SIL gave me a few decoupage sheets a while back and one of them has several images of snow globes. I love snow globes, there's just something magical about them :-)
I fussy cut all the different layers of the snow globe, and then adhered them to each other using foam dots. This gives it a 3D effect and adds beautiful dimension to the card. The stitching pattern is from a Stitch & Do kit from last year.
On the inside I used a stamped a sentiment using a stamp from Christmas Sayings from Creative Expressions. The holly is from Stampabilities and I coloured it using copic markers.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Now it's your turn to make a Christmas project and come play along with us. You have till the end of the month to link your project to our blog at Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round.
