Dies R Us #169 ~ With Sympathy

Hello everyone, and welcome to our latest challenge at Dies R Us.

Challenge #169 ~ Anything Goes!
(as long as you used a die that is sold at Dies R Us)

These are always sad to make, but we all need them every once in a while, so I decided to keep a small stash just for these occasions.

I began by cutting the Card Display die and then went from there. I cut a few flowers, vases, vines, envelopes and greenery and then decided what I would put where.  It all fell into place rather quickly, once I knew what I wanted to use. On the inside I added a little potted plant to continue with the theme, and left the rest blank so I can write my personal message. I inked some of the die cuts and then used my fine tip bottle to adhere all the bits and pieces together.

Now for the list of supplies I used, each linked to the Dies R Us store.

Marianne Designs - Card Display Die
Marianne Designs - Flower Vases
Marianne Designs - Greenery
Marianne Designs - Envelope Set
Marianne Designs - Daisy Punch
Marianne Designs - Mini Labels (Stamps & Dies)

Did you all catch the latest European dies sales, Dies R Us had recently? I did and as always, I got a few new goodies to play with. It was through one of these sales that I got the Marianne Designs dies that I used on this card.  The best way to know about these International dies sales is to subscribe to the newsletter. You will find the subscription box on the home page at Dies R Us.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope I was able to inspire you to create a project, and  play along with us at the Dies R Us Challenges for your chance to win a gift certificate to the Dies R Us Store.  A new challenge begins on the 1st and 15th of each month. Visit our challenge blog, where my team mates showcase their creations to give you a little more inspiration.  Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Pinterest too.

Didi Crafts is our sister with warehouses in the US and Canada. This means that our Canadian friends no longer have to worry about huge taxes or expensive shipping fees.  It has some products that are the same as Dies R Us, but in addition, it carries international dies,  and other crafty supplies for a variety of crafts.  Go take a peek and be pleasantly surprised!

Till next time,
stay safe and healthy!

  1. I love this card so much Lena! I think I've found my enabling partner in crime when it come to Marianne Designs dies. They're my favorites when it comes to the special order events. I've added a few dies to my next wish list after seeing your sweet card. It's good to have sympathy cards on hand when needed. Very lovely!

  6. This looks so familiar, Lena. I love your design. The little clip board messages are just too cute, and the Swiss dot is perfect for the background. Love the little daisies and potted plants too. I wish Steve could have seen this.

Thank you for your congratulations on my blog. Of course I am very happy that I won. I had already sent an email on the 12th. I don't know if you saw it yet?

You have made a beautiful card. Beautiful in these colors. Beautiful curled and graceful branches with flowers on them.
