Dies R Us #166 ~ Happy Easter!

Hello everyone, and welcome to our latest challenge at Dies R Us.

Challenge #166 ~ Anything Goes!

With Easter fast approaching, I'm in Easter card making mode.

So let me share the latest Easter card I made using my two favourite hobbies, card making and card stitching.

Looking at the above picture, the card is dwarfed by the two bunnies.  I didn't thing they were that big, but by the time I realised I needed to take another pic, the card was on its way overseas, so sorry, crafting friends, but this will have to do.  There is a close-up pic of the card further down this post though :-)

On the inside, I just added a little piece of grass and an egg with the cute chick.  The rest was left blank for my personal message.

The most time consuming feature on this card was the cross stitched tag. Some of you are probably thinking that it's such a simple design, it would not have taken you long at all to make.  But I'm not a pro at cross-stitching so I need to take my time :-)  Instead of the two black cross stitch spots of the eyes, I adhered a pair of googly eyes instead to add an element of fun.

Now for the list of supplies I used, each linked to the Dies R Us store.

Marianne Designs - Basic Labels - Special Order Sale
Marianne Designs - X-Stitch Easter Egg - Special Order Sale
Precious Marieke - Grass Border - not in stock but

Did you all catch the latest European dies sales, Dies R Us had recently? I did and as always, I got a few new goodies to play with. It was through one of these sales that I got the Marianne Designs dies that I used on this card.  The best way to know about these International dies sales is to subscribe to the newsletter. You will find the subscription box on the home page at Dies R Us.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope I was able to inspire you to create a project, and  play along with us at the Dies R Us Challenges for your chance to win a gift certificate to the Dies R Us Store.  A new challenge begins on the 1st and 15th of each month. Visit our challenge blog, where my team mates showcase their creations to give you a little more inspiration.  Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Pinterest too.

Before I go, I'd like to remind you that Dies R Us' sister store,  Didi Crafts, is now open. It has warehouses located in the USA and Canada.  It has some products that are the same as Dies R Us, but in addition, it carries international dies,  and other crafty supplies for a variety of crafts.  Go take a peek and be pleasantly surprised!

Also, just a quick reminder that Dies R Us are having a DT call for our Inspiration team.

Till next time,
