Hello crafting friends. I hope you are all keeping well. I have a card to share with you today that I made as my Friday share for Fairy Stamper.
Some of my Valentine's cards this year are not very traditional, but I'm having fun with them :-)
I started my card with a piece of the background paper called Mountain View from Fairy Hugs. I'm not sure that the green is supposed to be water, but it's what I see when I look at this beautiful scenescape. Of course, it could be a meadow too, and I plan on using it as such in the future. I think that's what so fun about Fairyland, there are no rules! It can be whatever your imagination desires!
I stamped the trees first, then the swans, and then the lily pads. When this was all done, I felt like something was missing towards the top of card. It just looked very bare. So, after looking through my stamps I settled on the flying owl which I stamped in brown. Lastly, I added a few colours of glitter to the water edge, around the moon and on the lilies.
On the inside, I used another piece of the background paper and just stamped the lily pads in black. This is where I will write my personal message and as you can see there is plenty of space for that.
List of crafty goodies used to make this card, each linked to Fairy Stamper.
Thanks so much for stopping a while. I would love for you to make a project and share it with us on our Fairy Stamper Facebook group.
Till next time,
stay safe and well.
So sweet! xoxo
