Lavinia World #41 ~ Finn & the Moon Fairy

Hello everyone and welcome to challenge #41 at Lavinia World,
where the theme is always Anything Goes!

I have a slimline card to share with you today featuring the beautiful Moon Fairy and the lovely Finn.

I began with a piece of 8" x 9.25" navy blue card stock and folded it in half to make my card base. Next I adhered a piece of holographic card stock. I did this both to the front of the card and to the inside of the card.  Next I cut a piece of white card stock and began building my scene.  I started by stamping the Moon Fairy and then making a mask for her.  Then, once the mask was in place, I began blending in the night sky over the snowy banks by using a few different inks.  You can find the list of supplies I used later on in this post.
Then it was on to stamping Finn and the various trees to complete my wintry scene.

On the inside, I blended more of the Faded Jeans ink and stamped the Fir Tree again to bring it all together!

Here is a close up of the Moon Fairy and how beautifully the Fairy Hugs glitter works around the moon and on her wings.  I used a Quickie Glue pen to put a few dots of glue in each little section in order to keep the details of her wings.

I did the same thing to Finn's wings, especially since the Ocean glitter I used is not transculent, I didn't want it to become a big blur of glitter 😀

I also like to add just that extra touch to the envelopes.
I think it makes it a little more special.

My slimline card measures 9.25" by 4" and fits perfectly into a business size envelope.

Now for the list of supplies I used, each linked to the Lavinia World store, for your convenience.

Fairy Bugs (I used the stars)
Fairy Hugs Glitter - Pearl (on moon and snowbanks)

Thank you so much for taking a little bit of your time to spend with me, I'm really glad you stopped by.   Now, it's your turn to make a projects and come play along with us.  Although our theme is always Anything Goes, you do have to use physical stamps, either rubber or clear.

 NO DIGI stamps allowed.
