Hello crafting friends, it's the beginning of the month so that means a new challenge begins today at Dies R Us.
Challenge # 156 ~ Thankful!
Since recently changing the die storage in my craft room, I found quite a number of dies I had that I had forgotten about. But then most of you know exactly what I'm talking about, right? One of these dies, that I promised myself to use, is this sweet scarecrow and this challenge was just perfect for it.😀
I started by using the cloud stencil to make a cloudy sky. Next I cut out two of the hills, one in darker green cardstock to add a little bit of contrast, and adhered them to the card base. After cutting all the bits and bits for the scarecrow, I used multiple inks to give him some colour. Lastly I cut out some of the Fall elements, coloured them using copic markers, and placed them in a way to create a little Fall scene around him.
I continued the theme on the inside by adding another hill and a couple of the little pumpkins. I think it turned out simple, but very cute.
What do you all think?
Here is the list of supplies of all the crafty goodness I used to make this card, each linked to the Dies R Us for your convenience.
I'm sure you already know this, but I'd like to remind you that international dies, such as Lea'bilities, Marianne Design, Joy Crafts, etc. only go on sale at Dies R Us during special order events. The best way to know about these events is to subscribe to the Dies R Us newsletter, which you will find on the front page of the store.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and sharing a little bit of your day with me. I hope I was able to inspire you to create a project, and play along with us at the Dies R Us Challenges for your chance to win a gift certificate to the Dies R Us Store. A new challenge begins on the 1st and 15th of each month. Visit our challenge blog, where my team mates showcase their creations to give you a little more inspiration. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Pinterest too.

Before I go, I'd like to remind you that Dies R Us' sister store, Didi Crafts, is now open. It has warehouses located in the USA and Canada. It has some products that are the same as Dies R Us, but in addition, it carries international dies, and other crafty supplies for a variety of crafts. Go take a peek and be pleasantly surprised!
Till next time,
stay safe and healthy!

What a sweet scarecrow and nicely designed scene. I love your simple and quick inside, so little needed to avoid keeping it bland. I’m no good at decorating the inside of my cards.
