Dies R Us #155 ~ Boo!

 Hello crafting friends, it's the beginning of the month so that means a new challenge begins today at Dies R Us.

Challenge # 155 ~ Boo!

Isn't this Spooky Shoe from Tutti Designs an awesome Halloween die? The possibilities are endless.  I used this die in a very easy way, by cutting one out of black cardstock and the other out of purple glitter cardstock.  Using press 'n seal, I was able to pick up all the pieces from both cuts and then paper piece it into the other. Easy as pie!

I did cut out an extra buckle in gold and one in silver to give each shoe a little something special, as well as an extra spider to add it to the web which is actually printed on the background paper. I also cut out a couple of ghosties out of vellum to give them that eerie appearance. On the second shoe, the vellum was not as noticeable so I cut them out of white cardstock.  I used the background papers to decorate the inside of the cards as well. On the first card, the background paper was perfect as it already had the foiled sentiment. On the second card, I used a die from Marianne Designs for the message webbed circle.

That was it, both cards done with minimal fuss and time. Always a bonus when you have a lot of cards to make :-)
