Blaze and the Monster Machines - Take 2

As promised, here I am sharing the card my son asked me to make for his nephew.

I love bright colours on birthday cards, don't you? Especially when they're for kids. It just has a happy feel to it, I think.  For this card, I googled the image, printed it on glassy photo paper and cut it with the cricut.  I used foam dots to adhered it to an embossed panel on the card front. I love this 3D embossing folder called Jumbled Triangles by Sizzix. It has such a masculine look to it, don't you think?  On the inside, I used a sentiment from the Good Times stamp set by Cardz TV, and I also stamped a candle a few times.  This candle was a gift on a order from Darlene at Dutch Paper Crafts.

So there you have it. Another Blazin' Birthday card done.  As I write this post, I'm wondering what next year will bring when he turns 4.  What ever it will be, I'm sure it'll be fun :-)

Thanks for stopping by and spending a little of your day with me.
Till next time, stay safe and well.

  1. That is spot on for a young boy! I also noticed the embossed background, what a great pattern!

  2. WOW ... PERFECT! Kids love bright colors and what little boy (or girl for that matter) wouldn't love this awesome truck! Almost resembles the car ... Speed McQueen! LOL I don't have a cricut but every time you make something like this you tempt me to look into making the purchase. But at my age I don't think I'd use it to it's best capabilities ... but still thinking about it! When I make my trip to TX to visit you, you can show me how it works! Deal? LOL
