DRU #147 ~ Summer Time Fun

Hello crafting friends and welcome to a new challenge at Dies R Us.

Challenge # 147 ~ Summer Time Fun!

To me, Summer Time Fun is had at the beach and since beach cards are my favourite cards to make, you can imagine that this challenge was right up my alley.

As much as we have travelled, we have not made it to Hawaii yet, but it's on top of my bucket list :-)
When my sister-in-law, sent me this Happy Tropics 3D push out sheet, by Yvonne Creations, this idea for a card popped into my head and I ran with it.

I wanted to continue the theme on the inside, so I added a tropical leaf and some flip flops. Now all it's missing is me sitting in Hawaii with a fru fru drink in my hand!!!

Here is the list of supplies I used to make this card:

As you I'm sure you noticed, most of the dies I used to make this card are from Marianne Designs. I get these and other International dies, when Dies R Us have their special order sales.  The best way to know about these sales is to subscribe to their newsletter. That way you won't miss out on International die sales and other special events that take place every so often.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I hope I was able to inspire you to create a project, and  play along with us at the Dies R Us Challenges for your chance to win a gift certificate to the Dies R Us Store.  A new challenge begins on the 1st and 15th of each month.  Be sure to follow on Facebook and Pinterest too.

Before I go, I'd like to remind you that Dies R Us' sister store,  Didi Crafts, is now open. It has warehouses located in the USA and Canada.  It has some products that are the same as Dies R Us, but in addition, it carries international dies, including Marianne Design, and other crafty supplies for a variety of crafts.  Go take a peek and be pleasantly surprised!

Till next time,
stay safe and healthy!

  7. Such a wonderful scene. I love how you framed it. the inside is so cute too. I keep promising myself that I am going to finish the inside while I have the materials out, but alas it has not become a habit. After seeing some of the inside of cards from the team i am putting a note on my Big Shot reminding me to think about the inside of the card.
