CCAYR - June's Challenge ~ Use a Recycled Item

Hello crafting friends, and welcome to June's challenge at
 Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round

Our challenge this month is to Recycle an Item.

I have a small stash of used Christmas cards and thought this the perfect challenge to start re purposing these cards.  Here's what I came up with ...

I thought this was the perfect card design for this card.
I cut the image into 3 equal parts, matted each one and adhered them to a piece of patterned paper.
Next I stamped and punched the greeting and adhered it with foam squares.  The ribbon came from my scraps drawer so even that was recycled.  I had just enough to make the little bow.

I was even able to re used  the original greeting on the card.  I trimmed, matted it and adhered it to the inside of the card on top of a little piece of ribbon cut offs.

I like the way this card turned out. I may do a few more of the ones that have large images on them.  Thanks so much for stopping by today. Now it's your turn to make a Christmas project and come play along with us.  You have till the end of June 2020 to link your project to our blog at Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round!
