Hello crafting friends. I'm so excited!
It's my very first post for the Dies R Us Challenge Team.
Challenge # 142 ~ Anything Goes
I realised that Easter is less than two weeks away, and I don't have any Easter cards to send out. With that in mind, here is my first one for 2020.
I love the cross-stitch die collection from Marianne Designs. They're just small enough to look really cute and not take up too much time to complete.
I began by sponging a little Memento Summer Sky ink on the background. Next, I die cut my elements, assembled and coloured them, and placed them in a way to create an Easter scene. Some of these elements are pretty tiny, so it was easier for me to cut them out of self adhesive white card stock and use copic markers to colour them in.
On the inside, I die cut another few elements and adhered them to the card to continue with the Easter theme. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
Here is a list of supplies I used, each linked to the Dies R Us store for your convenience.
** Please note that my grass borders are from Die-namics, called Grassy Edges. These are not available at the moment, so I linked to the most comparable dies currently available at the store.
I'd like to remind you that Dies R Us' sister store is now open.
Didi Crafts has warehouses located in the USA and Canada. It has some products that are the same as Dies R Us, but in addition, it carries international dies and other crafty supplies for a variety of crafts. Go take a peek and be pleasantly surprised!
