Hello crafting friends and welcome to challenge #19 at Lavinia World,
where the theme is always Anything Goes!
Every now and then you just need one of these cards. For me they're the hardest to make. I wanted this card to convey how sorry we, as a family, are for the loss of this young lady's husband, but since it is for a young lady, I didn't want it to be too somber, so I thought using these stamps and the light pink/lavender colours would work, and I think it did.
I began by cutting an oval template and shading in the oval using blending brushes and Distress Oxide Spun Sugar ink. I wanted it a little darker on the edges, so went over it with Distress Oxide Milled Lavender ink. Next I stamped the Dandelions using Versafine Clair Morning Mist. Then I removed the mask and stamped the Flutterbies, also in the Morning Mist ink. I adhered a piece of craft foam to the back, about a 1/8" smaller than the card panel, and mounted it onto a 6.5" x 5.0" card. All that was left to do was stamp the sentiment in Versafine Nocturne ink, and add a few pink pearls to each side of the oval. On the inside, I used the same oval mask and followed the same procedure. I left it blank so I could write my own message.
Here is a list of the supplies I used, each linked to the
Lavinia World store, for your convenience.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed your visit and will make a project to come play along with us. Although our theme is always Anything Goes, you do have to use physical stamps, either rubber or clear.
NO DIGI stamps allowed.
The winner of the challenge will be able to proudly display our Lavinia World winner's badge on their blog, and receive a $15 gift certificate to the Lavinia World store. Lavinia World offers the complete range of Lavinia stamps and papers. Although Lavinia Stamps is from the UK, Lavinia World is a US based store that ships worldwide.
Also, please note that we are not part of any other entity or Facebook group that carries Lavinia stamps. ONLY the cards posted to Lavinia World Challenges will be entered into the drawing for the Lavinia World prize. Also note that the gift certificates are ONLY valid at the Lavinia World store.
