Hello crafting friends and welcome to challenge #11 at Lavinia World,
where the theme is always Anything Goes!
It's that time of the year again when I start making my calendars to send to family as Christmas gifts. With this in mind, I made a Halloween tag to put on my October page.
Using Marianne Design dies, I cut out two tags. One in white and the other in orange.I used the white tag to create my scene. I began by sponging in the ground using Memento London Fog ink. Next I cut out a circle out of sticky paper and placed it where I wanted the moon to be. Leaving the moon mask in place, I used Memento Grape Jelly ink to sponge in the purple sky. Then I removed the moon mask and went over it very lightly with Memento Dandelion ink. When the ink was completely dry, I stamped Willow the Witch and the cauldron using Clair Versafine Nocturne ink. I finished it off by stamping the largest bat of the Bats stamp set, also using the Clair Versafine Nocturne ink. I tied the two tags together using a small piece of twine, off setting the orange tag to add a backing and a little dimension. I used the Silhouette to print and cut the month and to cut a few Jack o' Lanterns.
That is it, that is my October page. The photo of the family will go on top of the orange photo mat, leaving about and 1/8" all around. Here is a quick recap of the materials I used, each linked to the Lavinia World store for your convenience.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed your visit and will make a project to come play along with us. Although our theme is always Anything Goes, you do have to use physical stamps, either rubber or clear.
NO DIGI stamps allowed.
The winner of the challenge will be able to proudly display our Lavinia World winner's badge on their blog, and receive a $15 gift certificate to the Lavinia World store. Lavinia World offers the complete range of Lavinia stamps and papers. Although Lavinia Stamps is from the UK, Lavinia World is a US based store that ships worldwide.
Also, please note that we are not part of any other entity or Facebook group that carries Lavinia stamps. ONLY the cards posted to Lavinia World Challenges will be entered into the drawing for the Lavinia World prize. Also note that the gift certificates are ONLY valid at Lavinia World.

ReplyDeleteOh, it looks so fun making these calendars. But my sister is making calendars for everyone with photo of her kids, my nephews, every year and I don’t want to ‘compete’ with that. I love receiving my calendar each year, as I suppose your recipients do too.
