Halloween Lantern.

Hello crafting friends and welcome to challenge #9 at Lavinia World,
where the theme is always Anything Goes!

If you're a follower of my blog, you may remember that I made a Christmas Lantern last year, and that I said I was going to make a Halloween one for this year.  Well, promised kept, crafting friends :-)

I used the same style of lantern as I used last year, except that this one came with frosted glass already, so I didn't have to do that. After cleaning each glass panel well with rubbing alcohol, it was just a matter of choosing each scene and stamping my images using StazOn Jet Black ink.

I've listed all the stamps I used per panel on each picture below and I will link them to the Lavinia World store for your convenience.

Right Side:

Back:
(I used the antlers to stamp the spooky looking shrubs :-)

Left Side:

The lantern comes with a "flickering candle" inside in the form of LDE lights, so it was difficult to photograph, but here is one of the best pics I got to give you an idea of what it looks like when lit.

To decorate the lantern on the outside, I used a black satin ribbon to make a bow and adhered it to the middle of a purple flower from my stash.  Next, I deshanked a few spider buttons and adhered one to the middle of the bow.  The other buttons were glued to the lantern at random places to finish it off.  Almost forgot to tell you that I used a MISTI to stamp these images. Makes it easier to stamp on smooth surfaces such as glass.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you enjoyed your visit and will make a project to come play along with us.  Although our theme is always Anything Goes, you do have to use physical stamps, either rubber or clear.
 NO DIGI stamps allowed.
We prefer that your submissions use Lavinia stamps, but it's not a requirement.  However, if you do use Lavinia stamps in your project, your chances of winning are doubled.

The winner of the challenge will be able to proudly display our Lavinia World winner's badge on their blog, and receive a $15 gift certificate to the Lavinia World store.  Lavinia World offers the complete range of Lavinia stamps and papers.  Although Lavinia Stamps is from the UK, Lavinia World is a US based store that ships worldwide.

Also, please note that we are not part of any other entity or Facebook group that carries Lavinia stamps.  ONLY the cards posted to Lavinia World Challenges will be entered into the drawing for the Lavinia World prize. Also note that the gift certificates are ONLY valid at Lavinia World.
