I have the last few Valentine Day's cards to share with you today.
This is the card I made for hubby.
I knew the moment I saw this pattern that I wanted to use it to make a card for hubby. It has hearts but no florals so I thought it perfect for my hubby. I used Christmas Red and Silver embroidery thread. Cupid was cut 3 times, using Silhouette design #118808, for extra dimension. It's backed by a silver shadow.
For the inside, I used the letters from Silhouette design #285996 and added a little message mat.
For my mom, I thought this card was perfect, since she lives miles and miles away, all the way in Portugal.
I even found the perfect patterned paper :-)
Red card stock - GinaK.
Patterned paper - Silhouette #176083
Card design - Silhouette #54747
On the inside, I used a strip of the envelopes patterned paper and the words that come with the card design. I added a few hearts to make it extra special :-)
Last, but not least, here is a card I made for a very special friend.
White card stock is from Bazzill.
Pink card stock is from GinaK.
Image is a left over piece from a previous project.
This card was based on Silhouette design #76083, but as you can see, I modified it to suit my focal point and I must admit, I impressed myself that I could do it :-) I normally stick to the original designs, maybe just change a few things around, but this one, gave me a bit of grey hairs :-)
Well, this brings me to the end of my Valentine 2019 cards. Now onto the Easter ones :-)
Love card making! It never stops. There is always an occasion just perfect to send a card.
Problem is ... my scrapbooking is running about 12 years behind! Yikes!!!
Crafting hugs,
Lena, these are gorgeous! What an incredible variety, each sharing your beautiful heart in a clever and unique way. The designs are beautiful and I know these will be cherished forever. :) Thank you for the sweet inspiration, my friend! Happy Friday. :)
