... and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers,
'Tis near Halloween!
Hello crafting friends. Just thought I would share this little saying which is one of my favourites to put on the inside of Halloween cards :-) Take a look ...
This 5" x 5" card is made using the Halloween Bubbly Girls from Yvonne Creations. The spooky landscape for the girls is an image from Google as is the inside of my card, with my favourite saying :-). I stamped a couple of witches onto the background to emphasize the "riding witches" :-)
The next card, which measures 6.5" x 5", uses the background from Yvonne Creations as well as the Bubbly Girls. I decided to use the same background for both the front and the inside of the card.
The sentiment is from a very old Halloween stamp set, unfortunately I have no info on it.
Both the black and orange card stocks are from GinaK. The background images were printed onto Neenah Bright White card stock. The Bubbly Girls were printed onto HP glossy photo paper.
I have a tip for you - the Cricut Explore has the darnest time reading the registration lines on glossy photo paper. Turn the light in your room off, or close your drapes. It works perfectly every time so long as there is no other light reflecting off the photo paper. It took me a while to figure this one out :-)
Here is a close up of these cuties. I used pop dots to put in between each layer to add dimension to the card.
I think that these ladies are ready to get their Halloween party started! What do you all think? :-)
I have a few more Halloween cards to share with you, but I don't want to spoil the surprise, so I can only share them after Halloween :-), so be sure to come back and visit.
Till then,
Crafty hugs
