Laid Back Witch

Hello crafting friends. Welcome back. I love this time of the year. The diversity of projects available for inspiration is amazing. I could spend all day just hopping from blog to blog to oooh and aaah about the all Spooktacular and Bootiful projects out there :-)

We have a new challenge starting today at Crafty Gals Corner hosted by the Crafty Gals :-)

Challenge # 176 ~ Fancy Fold

Our very generous sponsor this fortnight is

Prize: $15 Gift Certificate

Using the Laid Back Witch digi set, I created a twisted easel fold card.

Isn't she an absolute cutie?  I added some sparkle to her necklace, bracelets and the bows on her shoes, but it doesn't really show up on the pic.

For the front of my card, I used the background paper that came with the set. I thought it was too pretty to add any embellishments to it. So the only thing I did was to cut another witch and pop dotted it on top for a little extra dimension, and added a little spider with my sentiment. I stamped it with versamark ink and heat embossed it with black embossing powder from Stampendous. The sentiment is from the Cardz TV stamp set called October 31st.

On the inside I added a little broom and a black cat. I printed the sentiment onto the background at an angle by importing the image into my silhouette program. The broom and the black cat are both dies from Cottage Cutz. I thought I would give the cat a blue hat and bow tie to match the little witch :-)  The red eyes were supposed to make him look a little scary but in all honesty he really is too cute to spook :-)

Thank you for sharing a little piece of your day with me.  I hope that I have inspired you to make a project to link to our challenge #176, Fancy Fold.  Remember there are fabulous prizes to be won.  You have until noon, CST, on Tuesday, 9 October 2018, to link your project to the  Crafty Gals Corner blog. And while you there, take a few minutes to look at what my teamies made for your inspiration.

Till next time,
Happy Crafting!

I hope to get back to playing in the challenge as soon as I finish these 400 (yes I said 400 lol) candy boxes for an event at the end of November. In the meantime, I'll just enjoy all the amazing creations my friends are making! Well done!! Have a great day!
