July Challenge at CCAYR

Welcome back crafting friends. It's the first of July so time for another challenge at Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round
Our challenge this month, hosted by the Gingerbread Gals is all about the Christmas Tree!

July Challenge ~ Christmas Tree
Prize ~  please visit the CCAYR blog

Have you seen that a lot of stores already have their Christmas merchandise out? I must admit that although early, I'm one of those people that already walked around admiring all the new goodies, and have already purchased a couple of Christmas presents 😀  After all, you have to honour this whole "Christmas in July" thing 😀 So what better way to do that, than to join us for our July challenge.

Here is the card I made.  In fact I made 25 of them!

I made this card using a few different Silhouette designs.
I embossed the Christmas tree using a Swiss dot embossing folder to give it a little more dimension., and then I adorned it with tiny dots of Stickles glue in red and gold.

The little star at the top of the tree is cut out of gold mirror cardstock.
It shows up real well on this pic.

On the inside, I used a Great Impressions stamp for the sentiment.

Now if you're a follower of my blog you know that for the last couple of years, I have made 100 cards to donate to Vera Yates' Caring Hearts Card Drive. This is such a fabulous cause. If you'd like, you can find all the details HERE. Since this turned out to be a card that is not too difficult to mass produce, I have my first 25 out of the 100 cards that I need to donate to this cause.

Now it's your turn to join in the fun.
You have till the end of the month to link your project to our challenge.
Looking forward to seeing your festive creations.

Till next time,
