Dreaming of a White Christmas

Hello crafting friends. Welcome to April  and a new challenge at CCAYR hosted by the Gingerbread Gals.

April Challenge ~ All White
Prize ~  please visit the CCAYR blog

I actually have a couple of cards to share with you today, but this is the one for this challenge, All White!

To make this 6.5" x 5" card, I used the following supplies:
Card base - Recollections
White card stock - Gina K.
Silent Night embossing folder - Crafter's Companion
Pearls - Marinanne Designs
Stamp - Christmas Sayings - Creative Expressions

As you can see, this card was very simple to put together. I love these 3D embossing folders. All I did was add a layer of craft foam behind it and added a few pearls to the bottom frame.

Now when you're in a design team and you misread your challenges, you end up with something like this :-)

Yes, that's right. This has silver in it because I read my challenge as "mostly" white.  Not a problem, it just means that I have an extra card for my Christmas stash :-) On this card, I used another 3D embossing folder from Crafter's Companion. This one is called Ring out the Bells. Silver cardstock is from The Paper Studio. Merry Christmas die is from Yvonne Creations. The stamped sentiment is also from the Christmas Sayings set by Creative Expressions. Gems are from The Paper Studio.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you've enjoyed your visit and will play along with us.  You have till the end of the month to link your Christmas project to the CCAYR blog.  Please take a few minutes and visit our blog to see all the wonderful projects made by The Gingerbread Gals.  And don't forget to come back on the 15th, when the Christmas Belles will post their projects for your mid-month inspiration.

Crafty hugs,

  1. I think both cards are beautiful, classy and traditional. There’s something special but an all white card, it’s been ages since I last made one. They’re tricky to photograph but irl they’re favorites.
