Valentines for the BIG Kiddos :-)

Hello crafting friends. I'm back today to share with you the Valentine cards I made for the BIG kiddos. I guess when you get to be my age, anyone in their 20's can still be called a Kiddo :-)  So, grab a cuppa and enjoy. I've listed the supplies used under each card.

The card I made for my daughter and her hubby.
They love to play board games, table top games, etc. so when I saw this card in the Silhouette store, I thought it perfect for them.

Crafting Supplies:
Card Design - Silhouette Design # 54929
Cardstocks - GinaK.
Stamp - Dollar bin - Michaels

Here is the card I made for my son.
He loves foxes.  In fact, the last time we got a puppy, we toyed with the idea of getting a fox. They have the cutest domesticated foxes, but in the end we decided on our Basenji instead. I'm just not too sure that foxes are meant to be kept as pets :-)  I added a little surprise to his card.

Crafting Supplies:
5.5" x 5.5" card base - Recollections
All other cardstocks - GinaK.
Hearts dies - Entwined Hearts - Elizabeth Crafts
Foxes dies - Cottage Cutz
Gift card holder die - Lawn Fawn
Embossing Folder - Heart Scrolls - Crafters Companion
Stamp - Happy Days - Cardz TV

And lastly, I would like to share the card I made for his girlfriend.
She loves Baby Groot, so that gave me the idea to make this card.

Crafting Supplies:
5.5" x 5.5" card base - Recollections
Cardstocks - GinaK.
Baby Groot image - Royalty free - Google
Heart background die - Heart Breeze - Simon Says Stamps
Greeting stamp - Dollar Bin - Michaels

I really wanted those hearts in the background, so I used the die and cut it out several times after positioning the die in the correct spot. When I placed it over the pink cardstock it looked really pretty but extremely busy, so I sat with all my bits and pieces and paper pieced the hearts back into their little cut out holes. It really was a labour of love, but I love the way it came out.  I think the little pink dots coming through are more than plenty to add some colour to the background.  What do you all think?

Thanks for coming by today. I will see you all again soon with another project to share.
Till then,
Crafty hugs,
