Hello crafting friends. This is my first post on the Merry Christmas Challenge Blog. I'm so excited to be joining this great group of very talented ladies.
As always, the challenge theme is Anything Goes, as long as it's Christmas!
For my first post I wanted to share a card I made for the Caring Hearts Card Drive which is run by a very special lady called Vera Yates. You can read all about it on the link that I provided or better yet, you can join in the fun and spread some Christmas cheer to elderly people in old age homes, across the world, at Christmas time.
Since I plan on making 100 cards to donate to this card drive, I've kept them all pretty simple, but still festive.
Here are the supplies I used:
The Paper Studio A2 cards and envelopes
GinaK. red cardstock
Scalloped SU! punch
Silhouette to cut the ovals
The Paper Studio Santa chippies
I stamped this message on the inside to help carry the message of good cheer. I will be signing each and every card with my name, city and state. This stamp is from the Christmas Sayings set by Creative Expressions.
So here are the first 40 cards of the 100 I plan to make.
It's such a great feeling of accomplishment once they're all done and it makes me so happy to think that I may help brighten someone's Christmas just a little.
Now it's your turn to make a Christmas project and to join in the fun of our Merry Christmas challenge. You have till noon EST on Tuesday, 31 October 2017 to link your project to our challenge blog. While you there, take a few minutes and see what my DT teamies made for your inspiration.
Till next time,
Happy Crafting!
