Birthday Caaarrrddd :-)

Hello crafting friends.  Today is my SIL's birthday and I'm so glad that she is here to celebrate it with us.

When I saw this card, I just knew that I would have to make it for her, but let me tell you that this was indeed a labour of love.  Definitely not a quick card :-)

This card was cut using design #116100, from the Silhouette store.  You just have to  keep adding sections till you reach the required number of candles.  Now bear in mind that you have to adhere each patterned paper candle to the original card. Then you have to also adhere the flame, and each flame has three layers that all have to be adhered together.  I used my Zig two way pen for the candles and the Ranger multi medium adhesive with a precision tip to glue the flames together.
The butterflies were cut using a die from Memory Box. The bling was from my stash.  Stamped butterflies are from a very old wood stamp and the sentiment is from the Cardz TV stamp set called Good Times.  Black cardstock and DP are from The Paper Studio. All other cardstock is from my scraps drawer.

Even though it was very time consuming, it was a fun card to make and my SIL loved it, so it was well worth :-)

I will be back tomorrow with another challenge for Crafty Gals corner.

Till then,
Hugs,
