Puppy Love

Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog.

I have another Valentine card to share with you today.  Yes, I know that Valentine's Day is over, but I can only share the cards I made, now because I didn't want to ruin any surprises :-)

My son loves dogs, so I made this card for him.  Although this adorable puppy looks nothing like our Basenji dog, my son was able to appreciate the gesture :-)

The dog house is an image from Design Space called Valentine's Day Dog Scene. It's number is M9A5986.  I altered it to accommodate this cute lil dog  which was cut using a die from Cottage Cutz, called Christmas Puppy.  Again I altered it by placing a heart in it's mouth :-) Lots of altering going on on this project, but in the end I was happy with the result.

I cut two of the base layers and made a card with them, by scoring and folding the bottom one.  I adhered them together at the tip top of the roof.
The sentiment stamp is from the new Cardz TV set called Love Ya.  I added a small heart for good measure - after all it was for Valentine :-)

And here is a pic of our actual dog, Maverick the Basenji pup!  Very cute and loveable, but extremely stubborn with a severe case of selective hearing :-)

I will be back tomorrow to share my last Valentine card.
Thank you for your visit today. I hope you had a fun visit.
