I have a Hello Kitty birthday card to share with you today. I made this very girly and very sparkly card for my little cousin who is going to be 7. Unfortunately I could not capture all the sparkle and shine on these pics.
It's a S-fold card. The Hello Kitty was cut, using the Hello Kitty Greetings cricut cartridge, at 6.25" which fit perfectly in this A7 (5" x 7") card.
I used the cuttlebug folder to emboss the little flowers and another to emboss the happy birthday sentiments on the side panel. I sanded the little flowers so the white core would show through.
For the inside, I finagle a bunch of balloons in such a way that I had enough of them for the sentiment and a spare one to write my message.
I outlined all the balloons and the kitty's dress with a clear star gelly roll pen. I added sparkly dots to the white balloon and a sparkly dot to the centre of every embossed flower. Yes, it was time consuming but the effect was well worth the time. I wish I could capture it in the pic to show you all.
Since she loves Hello Kitty I know that she will love this card especially since it comes from her cousin Brian lol. She really took to my son when we were there visiting a couple of years ago. Never mind that we were all there, she only asks about Cousin Brian :)
I have a few cards that I need to make for birthdays and for Halloween, so hopefully I will be back tomorrow with another card to share with you. Till then, happy crafting!
Hugs,
Lena
