Hello my crafty friends, I did promise to be back yesterday, but unfortunately I just didn't have the time. I had a list, a mile long, of things I needed to get done yesterday and I'm very happy that I did achieve most of them. So here I am today with my Quick Christmas Card No. 8
I received early Christmas presents from my SIL this year :) One of them was this beautiful embossing folder from Darice. I cut an extra centre piece so that I could add a little more dimension to the card. I gold heat embossed the stamped ornament and the sentiment and voila, another quick card.
I've had the darnest time finding gold cardstock or/and DP, so I turned to gold foil gift wrapping paper and it works beautifully. In fact, I couldn't have found better if I tried because this has a beautiful embossed pattern on it. It really is stunning and I can't wait to wrap some of my Christmas gifts. It is thinner than cardstock and not as easy to work with, but well worth the extra trouble. As you can see I added a piece of this beautiful gold paper as a mat on the inside. I also gold heat embossed the sentiment.
I hope you are all having a wonderful day.
Thank you for stopping by and taking a peek.
Hugs,
Lena
This is very elegant Lena, I like the bauble the embossing and the gold with the white looks so classy.
