"Nuts" About Christmas

I have a friend who is "nuts" about squirrels (hehehe). So for Christmas I made her this card. What could be more perfect than a Santa Squirrel?  The polka dot DP is ATD's Holiday Cheer Matstack that I got two years ago.  I really am trying to use what I already have :)

The squirrel is a sticker from a pack that I bought at HL. Unfortunately I threw the packaging away and have no clue who makes them.  They are very pretty though - they are embossed which adds a bit of dimension to the card, and very glittery, but the glitter does not rub off.  I used my new Spellbinders Exquisite Circles to cut the mat for the squirrel and shaded it using Mememto Desert Sand ink with a little sponge dauber.
The ribbon is from my stash and was purchased at Walmart. I cut some little branches with a MS punch and placed a little acorn in the center. I added the sentiment and then went onto to the inside of the card ...

Here I just kept it simple with a lovely sentiment on the same cardstock and DP paper that I used in the front.  On the sticker sheet, I found a smaller version of the same squirrel, so I thought it would look cute to add it to the inside of the card.

That was it.  I think my friend will like it.  Yes, she knows who she is and yes, she does check out my blog regularly, for which I'm very grateful.

Hope you all have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by my blog.

Hugs,
Lena
