Winter Wishes

Around this time last year, I ordered this snowflake EK punch online. Obviously not having read the description properly, I was very disappointed when I got it as these snowflakes are huge and better suited for scrapbook pages or large cards, so I hadn't used it up till now.  I have a bunch of glitter cards that I got at M's on clearance and while playing around discovered that this punch works rather well on these cards. So here is my attempt at using my punch and my cards.  Believe it or not, I hadn't used these cards either.  Can you see a pattern here?  Yes, I'm trying to use what I have so that I don't feel so guilty when I buy new toys :)
Here is what I used to create this card ~  blue cardstock, cut with an edger punch, and gems are from my stash. Snowman is a stamp from Inkadinkado and the inside sentiment is from Great Impressions. The image was cut using Spellbinders Ovals large and small. The outside sentiment is from JustRite Noel Christmas Ornaments stamp set and was cut using SU! punches. I added stickles to the inside to add a little more sparkle and a few small snowflakes that I punched out with a little punch from Recollections.
All in all it was an easy and quick card to make and since I'm running behind on my Christmas cards, I will be making more of these, just using different images on the front of the card. I will probably stick with the white and blue theme since it involves snowflakes.
So there you have it for today. Thanks for stopping by and for all your comments. They do mean a lot to me.
I hope you all have a great week.
Hugs,
~ Lena ~
