Whimsy Turtle Doves Christmas Card

My daughter bought this Whimsy stamp a few weeks ago and now I got to play with it. I don't normally make cards with lace and fru-fru, but this image just begged for a few embellishments.
I used my Copics to colour the image - i'm relatively new to copics, so I'm still trying to learn the ropes.
Lace, ribbon, bell, and poinsettias are all from my stash and I have no idea where any of it came from, just glad I had it :) The DP is from the K & Co. Tidings, Comfort and Joy stack from last year. The cardstock and card base are from Recollections.
I think that this image turned out cute and festive on this card, although now looking at it, I think that maybe I should have put a small sentiment on the front.  I don't know ... when I tried it, it made it look a little too cluttered. What do you all think? Any advice on colouring with Copics?  I can't seem to get the hang of the blending. I guess this really is one of those "practice makes perfect" kinda deals :)

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great day,
Lena
