My family is small and unfortunately we are all scattered all over the world. Not the best of situations because I really miss them all so much. Every now and then though, an advantage of having them scattered all over the world pops up and this was one of those times. My SIL sent me this teddy stamp as a surprise all the way from Holland. Isn't it the cutest image? I get all sorts of things that I like from my family - chocolates, cookies, chocolates, biscuits, chocolates, cheese, and that is just the food goodies! Did you notice that I mentioned chocolates a few times? Hehehe, yup I get them from everyone - Hi, my name is Lena and I'm a chocoholic!!! :) Let's not forget all the other addictions I have related to crafting supplies such as papers, ribbons, cricut, spellbinders, stamps ... oh, I could go on forever and were I to join support groups, I would have to hop from one to the other on a continous rotation basis. So, instead, I make cards and whatever else grabs my fancy and eat chocolate while doing it. What can I say? Life is good :)
So back to my card. The cardstocks are Paper Studio and the DP is from DCWV from last year's collection. The image was coloured in with copic markers and cut using spellbinders dies. The centre border is cut with an EK punch called LilyPad. I added a few ruby gems to finish the card. All in all an easy card to make that looks pretty. At least I think so :)
Hiding in my Craft Room have a challenge going this week which is to make a project using a die or a punch. Since I have used both, I'm going to enter this card in their challenge. Wish me luck! You can also join in the fun by going here.
Thank you for stopping by my blog. I wish you all a wonderful week!
Big hugs,
Lena
