For this card I used the Spellbinders 2010 Heirloom Ornament die to cut the ornament. Then I stamped the Wisemen image with VersaMark. I sprinkled PEARLlustre Sapphire over it and heat embossed it. Then I took shinning dark blue cardstock from Recollections and embossed that with the Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder. The sentiment is cut using the Spellbinders Ribbon Banners dies. I added a transparent ribbon bow and called done :) I may go back and do a smaller double bow though, I'm not too sure I like the way this ribbon bow is sitting. What do you all think? I have to make my cards with the smallest amount of frou-frou and layers because otherwise it's going to cost me a small fortune in postage as most of my cards are all mailed to overseas destinations.
Hugs,
Lena

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card! I also like the stamp. All matches so good together. And you are right al those layers of paper costs a fortune of stamps. I have the same problem.
