Open Sea Male Birthday Card

I used the SU! Open Sea stamp set to make this card. I wanted something elegant for a guy who is turning 60. I'm quite happy with the way it turned out. The cardstocks are from Paper Studio and the old world map mat is from the Sea Glass stack from K & Co. I used Rich Cocoa Memento ink to do all the stamping except the compass.  I stamped that with VersaMark and then gold heat embossed it. When it was completely dry I used my red bic marker to colour it in.  It looked very blah without that little bit of colour.  Well, my friends, thank you for visiting my blog and I wish you and yours a wonderful weekend.

Hugs,
Lena
